Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Umar Allen.
Kiera Bale was examined by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the event and cleared to race.
Baker Street was quick to begin. Kiera Bale and Gothamburg collided approaching the first turn. Ace Gone Wild checked off Bageera on the first turn, checking Umar Allen. Kiera Bale, Gothamburg and Bageera collided approaching the home turn. Bageera and Nolen's Fortune collided on the home turn. Kentucky Sun raced wide entering the home straight and collided with Umar Allen; causing Umar Allen to falter and tail off. Nolen's Fortune checked off Gothamburg approaching the winning post.
Umar Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Baker Street - the winner of the event.
