Judges inadvertantly semaphored a dead-heat for third placing. This was immediately corrected before the all clear was given. 

Little Coco and Coyote were slow to begin.

Black In Town and Ellisa's Oath collided soon after the start. Ice Cold Yug, Black In Town and Ellisa's Oath collided at the 250m mark. Coyote crossed to the outside at the 200m mark, checking Black In Town and Ellisa's Oath. Khaleesi Girl and Ice Colg Yug collided approaching the 150m mark. Ice Cold Yug checked off Khaleesi Girl at the 150m mark.

Little Coco was tailed off throughout the event and was vetted. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr John Brown, the trainer of the greyhound Little Coco. Stewards deemed the performance of Little Coco unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Little Coco must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rayjan Eddy was a late scratching at 10:24AM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Terry Myer was fined the sum of $100.

Our Rocket was slow to begin.

Here's Tiger and Terrigal Tornado collided soon after the start. Don's Gas checked off Here's Tiger at the 250m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Brian Donovan, the trainer of Pee Jay Ripper, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pee Jay Ripper last raced on 7 February 2016. Mr Donovan stated that the greyhound had sustained a right wrist injury.

Pee Jay Ripper went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3L).

My Fernando Tim, Bronelly Buster and Kathy's Lady collided soon after the start. Two Mississippi and You Betcha Jorge collided at the 250m mark. Kathy's Lady and Two Mississippi collided at the 200m mark. My Fernando Tim and Bronelly Buster collided at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to the trainer-handler of Pee Jay Ripper, Mr Brian Donovan, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound. Stewards noted that the greyhound was already on a box first however Mr Donovan was unable to box Pee Jay Ripper for this event and the starter subsequently boxed the greyhound. Stewards advised Mr Donovan that he is required to find a suitable handler for the greyhound in future events, pursuant to GAR44.

Alexanderia and Dodge Ball collided soon after the start. Daintree Dynamo, Alexanderia and Dodge Ball collided at the 250m mark. Uncatchable and Daintree Dynamo collided at the 150m mark. Daintree Dynamo checked off Uncatchable approaching the winning post, checking Johnny's Return. Ernie's Legacy crossed to the rail approaching the winning post.

Popowski and Mini Tron collided soon after the start. Popowski, Mini Tron and Oriental Lord collided at the 300m mark, checking all three greyhounds. Oriental Lord and Popowski collided at the 250m mark. Oriental Lord and Mini Tron collided at the 100m mark. Oriental Lord and Popowski collided at the 100m mark, checking both greyhounds.

Don's Machine was quick to begin. Regional Chief was slow to begin.

Break The Code and Regional Chief collided soon after the start. Don's Machine crossed to the rail soon after the start. Silver Trident and Break The Code collided at the 300m mark. Grooven Chris checked off Slick Diamond approaching the 250m mark. Regional Chief faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off. Break The Code and Silver Trident collided at the 250m mark. Break The Code and Cosmic Breeze collided at the 150m mark.

Regional Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right sartorius (pencil) and tensor fascia (triangle) muscles. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

Acey Boy and Daintree Teacake collided soon after the start. Justa Jezza crossed to the inside at the 350m mark, checking Kimmy Bale and Acey Boy. Acey Boy and Justa Jezza collided at the 250m mark.

Samba King and Right Off Spot were slow to begin.

Gunmetal Angel and Blackjack's Back collided soon after the start. My Wrecker, Gunmetal Angel, Right Off Spot and Blackjack's Back collided at the 300m mark.

Baron's Breeze was slow to begin.

Welshman and Roberts collided at the 250m mark and again approaching the 200m mark. Longshot Glory galloped on the heels of Cullquin Jethro approaching the 200m mark. Welshman checked off Cullquin Jethro at the 200m mark, checking Hartley Matt and Longshot Glory.

Crackerjack Dave and Tiny Octane were slow to begin.

Surfside Squids and Ollie Pedro collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Dave crossed to the outside approaching the winning post, checking Holyfield.

Tiny Octane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain of the right wrist. A five-day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Another Value; a post-race sample was subsequently collected.

Bear Magic, Tzar Knight, Tzar Norma and Still Just Under were slow to begin. Tzar Knight and Tzar Norma collided at the 200m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bomber Lane.

Ribacola, Donkey Tron, Sublime Sull and Lido's Boy were slow to begin.

Hide The Wallet, Donkey Tron, Sublime Sull and Bomber Lane collided soon after the start. Donkey Tron and Bomber Lane collided approaching the 150m mark. Donkey Tron raced wide approaching the winning post, checking Sublime Sull and Bomber Lane.

Stewards delayed announcing all clear for this event as they had concerns with the positioning of the lure approaching the half-way point of the race. After reviewing the DVD replay, Stewards were satisfied that the positioning of the lure did not affect the outcome of the event and all clear was given. Stewards spoke to lure driver Mr Terry Adamson, regarding the positioning of the lure in this event, and was reminded of his responsibilities under GAR55(1). Mr Adamson's appropriate manager was informed of the incident.
