A pre-race sample was taken from Chasing James upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lektra Forrest upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bella Express upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Danna.
Dyna Danna and Lektra Forrest were slow to begin. Chasing James, Mr. Stealer and Bella Express collided on the first turn, checking Mr. Stealer and Militant Man. Mr. Stealer faltered entering the back straight and tailed off. Dyna Danna checked off Lektra Forrest on the second turn. Avatar Octane, Chasing James, Bella Express and Militant Man collided approaching the home turn, checking Chasing James.
Samples were taken from Militant Man (2nd) and Avatar Octane (unplaced).
Mr. Stealer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
