Stalking Storm was slow to begin.  Prince Stealth, Dr. Summer and Toss The Dice collided on the first turn checking Dr. Summer and Toss The Dice and severely checking Prince Stealth.  Dr. Summer was checked off Stalking Storm on the home turn.  Perrie The Fairy and Sneak Preview collided on the home turn checking Sneak Preview.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Barnard the trainer of Where's Marcia regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Where's Marcia last raced on 31/05/17.    Ms. Barnard stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.

Aston Ando was quick to begin.  Flying Storm and Straitline Willy were slow to begin.  Kokoda Bobby and Buckle Up York collided soon after the start.  Kokoda Bobby and Creative Moves collided on the first turn.  Buckle Up York and Where's Marcia collided on the first turn checking Where's Marcia which lost ground.  Flying Storm and King Colt collided approaching the home turn checking Flying Storm.  Straitline Willy was checked off King Colt approaching the home turn.  Buckle Up York and Where's Marcia collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Wot Price Slick.

Louie Allen, Dyna Zad and Full Loop were slow to begin.  Louie Allen and Dyna Zad collided soon after the start.  Full Loop and Dr. Diamontie collided on the first turn checking Full Loop.  Louie Allen was checked off Mahjong World on the first turn.  Wot Price Slick galloped on Dr. Diamontie approaching the home turn checking Dr. Diamontie.  Full Loop and Wot Price Slick raced wide in the home straight.

Alina Grand and Bill Heeny were quick to begin.  Macauliff was slow to begin..  Macauliff was checked off Wayne Kenneth soon after the start.  Paisley and Wayne Kenneth collided soon after the start causing Paisley and Delta Bad Hand to collided checking Delta Bad Hand which stumbled and fell.  No Passengers and Alina Grand collided approaching the home turn.  Macauliff raced wide approaching the home turn.  Destini Pegasus raced wide on the home turn.  Alina Grand and Bill Heeny collided in the home straight checking Destini Pegasus.  Alina Grand and Bill Heeny collided several times in the home straight.

Delta Bad Hand was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Jimmy Vella was slow to begin.  Kadalex Kid, Bernardo and Wild Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Bernardo and Wild Angel.  Jimmy Vella and Wild Angel collided approaching the first trun.  Bernardo and Wild Angel collided approaching the first turn.  Bernardo and Wild Angel collided entering the home straight checking Wild Angel.  Kadalex Kid raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Princess Pout.

Fully Loaded and Empire Entourage were quick to begin.  He Shall Fred and Princess Pout were slow to begin.  Sixteen Bills was checked off Wadelock Sampson approaching the first turn.  He Shall Fred and Charly Shu Shine collided on the first turn checking Charly Shu Shine, Sixteen Bills and Wadelock Sampson.  Zed Merrett was checked off Empire Entourage approaching the home turn.  Charly Shu Shine and Wadelock Sampson collided approaching the home turn.  Empire Entourage and Princess Pout collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cosmic Chieftain.

Lulu Lollipop was slow to begin.  Quick Finance, Soda Sky and Silvio Dante collided soon after the start.  Ringading Sister, Silvio Dante and Quick Finance collided on the first turn checking Quick Finance, Ringading Sister and Lulu Lollipop.  Relethor Bale and Cosmic Chieftain collided on the home turn causing Cosmic Chieftain to race wide.  Cosmic Chieftain, Lulu Lollipop and Meehan Deano raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. A. Karabitsakos the trainer of Lion Rebel declared a new weight of 32.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Lion Rebel last raced at 31.4kg.

Tito Mojito, Lion Rebel and Little Tacka collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Lion Rebel, Little Tacka, Dr. Yanma and Nangar Bear.

Lion Rebel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing on the right hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Snoop A Loop engaged in this event on 23/10/17 Pursuant to GAR 79A.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. K. Gorman the trainer of Snoop A Loop regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Snoop A Loop last raced on 06/07/17.    Mrs. Gorman stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel.  Ms. Gorman declared a new weight of 29.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Snoop A Loop last raced at 31.3kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Waldo.

Zipping Waldo was slow to begin.  Checker Plate and Dr. Zeeva collided soon after the start checking Dr. Zeeva.  Zoobie and Fleet Trades collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Fleet Trades.  Not Loitering raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Schofield the trainer of Zero Five regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Zero Five last raced on 11/07/17.    Mr. Schofield stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel.

Zero Five was quick to begin.  Jaggered Nikki was slow to begin.  Cronk crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Dr. Paulina and Invictus Storm.  Invictus Storm, Cronk and Mahi Indian collided on the first turn.  White Line Lass and Scrumble collided approaching the home turn.  Invictus Storm was checked off Mahi Indian on the home turn and collided with Dr. Paulina checking Dr. Paulina.  Scrumble raced wide in the home straight.

White Line Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Redenbach the trainer of White Line Lass regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from Slingshot Jayla engaged in this event on 23/10/17 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Mr. W. McMahon the trainer of Cambo's Cindy declared a new weight of 28.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Cambo's Cindy last raced at 29.5kg.

Tarika Tara was quick to begin.  Zipping Lance and Dyna Yella collided soon after the start.  Fred Dagg and Dyna Yella collided soon after the start.  Zipping Lance and Dyna Yella collided on the first turn.  Cambo's Cindy and Fred Dagg collided several times from the first turn until the home turn severely checking Fred Dagg.  Loaded and Fred Dagg raced wide in the home straight.
