Stewards spoke to Mrs K.Gorman, the trainer of Riverbank Rogue regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Riverbank Rogue last raced on the 14th of May, 2017. Mrs Gorman stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.
Riverbank Rogue was slow to begin. Menzali, Nicky Neo and Cloverlay collided soon after the start, checking Nicky Neo, Galo's Beauty and Kreuzberg. Kreuzberg and Galo's Beauty collided approaching the first turn, checking Galo's Beauty. Go Seek Fernando and Lady Mikado collided on the first turn, checking Lady Mikado.
