Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea, the trainer of Tram Tracker regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tram Tracker last raced on 2nd July, 2017. Mr. Lindrea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right back muscle injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Trap Queen.
Trap Queen was slow to begin. Apila Moola and Zoobie collided approaching the first turn. Tram Tacker crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dr. Paulina, Purple Hand, Reina Bale and Apila Moola. Tram Tracker and Trap Queen collided several times in the back straight checking Trap Queen. Tram Tracker and Trap Queen collided on the second turn checking Trap Queen. Purple Hand and Dr. Paulina collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Paulina checked off Zoobie approaching the winning post.
Trap Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury and a left pencil muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
