Sisco Knight and Candy Rose were slow to begin.  Paisley, Silvagni Cubed and It's Her Fate collided on the first turn severely checking Paisley, Silvagni Cubed, It's Her Fate and Dr. Zeeva and checking Stalking Storm,  Paisley and Silvagni Cubed lost considerable ground; Stalking Storm raced wide as a result.  It's her Fate and Stalking Storm collided on the second turn.  Sisco Knight and Wot Price Slick collided approaching the home turn.  It's Her Fate and Dr. Zeeva collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Dr. Zeeva.  Sisco Knight and Wot Price Slick collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Sisco Knight was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea, the trainer of Tram Tracker regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tram Tracker last raced on 2nd July, 2017.  Mr. Lindrea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right back muscle injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Trap Queen.

Trap Queen was slow to begin.  Apila Moola and Zoobie collided approaching the first turn.  Tram Tacker crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dr. Paulina, Purple Hand, Reina Bale and Apila Moola.  Tram Tracker and Trap Queen collided several times in the back straight checking Trap Queen.  Tram Tracker and Trap Queen collided on the second turn checking Trap Queen.  Purple Hand and Dr. Paulina collided approaching the home turn.  Dr. Paulina checked off Zoobie approaching the winning post.

Trap Queen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury and a left pencil muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Merchant Prince, Diamond and Tito Mojito were slow to begin.  Diamond, Cricket Dash and Tito Mojito collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn severely checking Crickets Dash which lost ground.  Diamond checked off Hundred approaching the winning post.

Jimmy Vella and Galloping Leo were slow to begin.  Dr. Sherlock checked off Ultimate Conor on the first turn.  Galloping Leo checked off Jimmy Vella entering the back straight.  Jimmy Vella and Tree Climber Liv collided on the second turn.

Midnight Marzy was slow to begin.  Wadelock Mindy and Secret Message collided soon after the start.  Secret Business crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cosmo Lass and Secret Message causing Secret Business to collide with Wadelock Mindy severely checking Wadelock Mindy.  Wadelock Mindy and Secret Business collided approaching the first turn severely checking Wadelock Mindy which stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Cosmo Lass checked off Dr. Watson on the first turn.  Secret Message and Secret Business collided on the first turn.  Dr. Watson and Midnight Marzy collided approaching the second turn.  Secret Message and Secret Business collided approaching the second turn.  Wadelock Venus raced wide on the second turn.  Secret Business and Midnight Marzy collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Slick Maggie and Smitten were quick to begin.  Another Shiner went up with the lids at boxrise and was very slow to begin (4 lenghs).  Dr. Melezar,  Dr. Eleonora and Far Out Indian were slow to begin.  Dr. Melezar crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Far Out Indian, Shining Opal and Dr. Melezar.  Dr. Melezar and Dr. Eleonora collided approaching the first turn.

Ash's Waddle was slow to begin.  Doused In Mud and Our Delta Rose collided soon after the start.  Doused In Mud, Our Delta Rose and Ash's Waddle collided approaching the first turn.  Ash's Waddle checked off Run Rita Run on the first turn.  Our Delta Rose and Ash's Waddle collided on the first turn.  Zipping Selma and Hazelwood Flyer collided on the first turn checking Hazelwood Flyer.  Rayda checked off Hazelwood Flyer on the second turn.

Dewana Special was slow to begin.  Blocka Boy and Mumma's Meatloaf collided soon after the start checking Mumma's Meatloaf.  Dr. Leonardo and Dewana Special collided on the first turn.  Blocka Boy galloped on Conclusive on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Blocka Boy raced wide as a result.  Dewana Special checked off Reatily Shintaro on the second turn.  Dr. Leonardo and Reatily Shintaro collided on the second turn.  Dr.Leonardo, Reatily Shintaro and Dewana Special collided entering the back straight severely checking Reatily Shintaro.  Mumma's Meatloaf and Walk Woody Walk collided in the home straight.

Flywheel Strike was a late scratching at 5.50pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).  No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
