Mepunga Debbie and Loch Mac collided soon after the start.  Nice Work, Hecton Bale and Jemma's Fantasy collided approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Debbie and Loch Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Debbie.  Revved Up Dee, Loch Mac and Nice Work collided on the first turn.  Revved Up Dee and Mepunga Debbie collided on the third turn.  Mepunga Debbie brushed the running rail entering the home straight.

Mepunga Debbie was vetted following the event.  it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Spyfection was quick to begin.  Meehan Barney and Gateway To Eden were slow to begin.

Light The Track, Gateway To Eden, My Girl Lava and Headline News collided approaching the first turn checking Gateway To Eden and My Girl Lava.  Light The Track and Gateway To Eden collided on the second turn.  Spyfection checked off He Can Fly on the third turn.  My Girl Lava and Headline News collided in the back straight.  Meehan Barney and My Girl Lava collided entering the home straight.

Data Star, Alpha Aion and Lektra Forrest collided soon after the start.  Neo Cleo checked off Dewana Express approaching the second turn checking Osakalaka.  Lektra Forrest and Osakalaka collided on the third turn.

This event was delayed by approximately 5 mins due to a track lighting issue.

Nangar Rock was quick to begin.  Nangar Range, Militant Man and Rebel Lad were slow to begin.

This event was rescheduled to race at 9.02pm.

Destroyer and Fool Proof collided on the first turn.  Sharp Diamond and Destroyer collided on the first turn checking John John Lava, Sharp Diamond contacted the running rail.  Thomas Dee checked off Inequity on the second turn.  Destroyer and Fool Proof collided approaching the third turn.  Sharp Diamond and Thomas Dee collided approaching the third turn.  Destroyer and Fool Proof collided entering the back straight.  John John Lava and Inequity collided on the fourth turn checking both greyhounds.

Sharp Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained muscle soreness to the left deltoid and right trapezius and a spike wound to the left hind, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr B. Keel, the handler of Sharp Diamond regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the third turn.

This event was rescheduled to race at 9.20pm.

Noaki Colour checked off Unite Bale approaching the first turn. Dyna Dean crossed in on the first turn checking Oronsay and Diama Bale.   Oronsay and Diama Bale collided on the first turn.  Dyna Dean and Perceptive collided on the third turn checking Perceptive.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bruce Tycoon.

Rock Up Top, Tuggeragh, Yarraman Ace and McNeo collided on the first turn checking McNeo, Vens Revenge, Pants On Fire and severely checking Bruce Tycoon.  Yarraman Ace, Rock Up Top and Bruceghelino collided on the second turn checking Rock Up Top.  Pants On Fire lost ground approaching the home turn checking McNeo.  Bruce Tycoon and McNeo collided approaching the winning post.

Pants On Fire was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Joffa's Old Girl and Poppy Pete collided approaching the first turn checking Poppy Pete, Very Choosy, Slinky Inky and Burning House.  Very Choosy and Dyna Danna collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Tilly and Joffa's Old Girl entering the front straight.  Slinky Inky and Burning House collided entering the front straight.  Cosmic Tilly and Joffa's Old Girl collided in the front straight.

A sample was taken from Quartz Vein - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Thompson, the handler of Roman Nose Zarr regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Roman Nose Zarr last raced on12th July 2017. Mr Thompson stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell and change of kennels.  Mr Thompson also declared a new weight for Roman Nose Zarr of 36.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Roman Nose Zarr last raced at 35.0kgs.

Quick Finance was quick to begin.

Chatty Garry and Rapanui Reveller collided approaching the first turn.  Natural Rhythm and Quick Finance collided on the first. Chatty Garry, Back Slapper and Diamond Ruby collided on the first turn checking Rapanui Reveller and Chatty Garry.  Rapanui Reveller and Back Slapper collided entering the home straight.

Dreamy Julian was slow to begin.

In A Spin and Orazzi Ohh collided approaching the first turn.  Fair Of Face and Shanlyn Percy collided approaching the first turn.  Telarah Flash and Orazzi Ohh collided on the first turn checking Orazzi Ohh, Fair Of Face and severely checking Scorching Fella causing Dreamy Julian to race wide.  Telarah Flash and In A Spin collided on the third turn checking Fair Of Face and Dreamy Julian.  Dreamy Julian crossed out entering the home straight and collided with the Shanlyn Percy.  Dreamy Julian eased in the home straight and collided with Shanlyn Percy checking Shanlyn Percy.  

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Galea, the trainer of the greyhound Dreamy Julian regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Dreamy Julian was vetted and re-vetted following the event 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey and right back muscle a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dreamy Julian with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Dreamy Julian was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
