A pre-race sample was taken from Rockin' On.
Good Golly Wally was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Glass Half Full and Why Not Maxine collided soon after the start checking Why Not Maxine. Waylon Bale, Kalani Sheldon and Glass Half Full collided approaching the first turn checking Kalani Sheldon. Crikey Creeky, Jacko Day and Kalani Sheldon collided on the first turn checking Kalani Sheldon, Crikey Creeky and severely checking Jacko Day which fell as a result.
Jacko Day was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle and left triangle injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
