Krazy Jane was slow to begin. Vectis Campinae was very slow to begin (3L).

Cup Half Full and Oshkosh Gypsy collided soon after the start. Miss Camelot, Cosmic Tool and Krazy Jane collided approaching the first turn, checking Krazy Jane. Cup Half Full, Cosmic Tool and Miss Camelot collided on the first turn. Vectis Campinae and Miss Camelot collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Gypsy and Mexican Spice collided on the first turn. Cup Half Full and Cosmic Tool collided on the home turn. Cosmic Tool raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Mexican Spice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was observed to have minor bleeding from the right nostril. No stand down period was imposed.
