Stewards spoke to Mr G Condon, the trainer of Lady Spur regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lady Spur last raced 16 February 2017 and has had a change of kennel during this time.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Spur.
Orlando Cruise and Jayanti were slow to begin. Jayanti and Holyfield collided soon after the start. Orlando Cruise checked off Jayanti approaching the first turn. Zara's Pride checked off Lola Allen approaching the first turn. Orlando Cruise raced wide approaching the winning post. Jayanti and Holyfield collided approaching the home turn.
