This event was delayed by approximately one minute to hold for Sha Tin races.
Bro Wizard and Macs Model collided soon after the start, checking Macs Model. Tomal, Cavatron and Ba Ria collided approaching the first turn, checking Ba Ria. Dark Star and Eaglehawk Miss collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Baz, Dark Star, Eaglehawk Miss, Tomal and Cavatron collided on the first turn, checking Cavatron. Tomal, Dark Star and All Inn Baz collided approaching the home turn. Cavatron and Tomal collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Ba Ria was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.
