Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Hiscock, the trainer of Sergei regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sergei last raced on 1st September 2017. Mr. Hiscock stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a left metacarpal injury.
Sergei was slow to begin.
Crooked Vulture and Hanga collided soon after the start. Chelsea Drogba and Kiss Me Nicki collided approaching the first turn. Kiss Me Nicki and Crooked Vulture collided on the first turn checking Sergei.
Hanga was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both groins and the right saddle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
