Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Cassar trainer of Jacky Shan regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Jacky Shan last raced on 29th Julyr 2017. Mr Cassar stated that the greyhound was resuming racing due to a change of kennel.
Due to a technical error the judges inadvertently semaphored the incorrect race time; this was amended to the correct time, prior to the all clear being given.
Flying Action was quick to begin. Southerly was slow to begin. Artic Twist checked off the heels of Destini Ferrari on the first turn. Mepunga Molly checked off the heels of Johnny McKenley approaching the home turn. Southerly checked off Artic Twist on the home turn. Jacky Shan, Flying Action and Saltbush Bill collided in the home straight, checking Flying Action.
