Another Emgrand, Avatar Sparkle and Annie Bell collided soon after the start checking Avatar Sparkle. All Inn Youi, Tanazoo, Bound Two Affair, Another Emgrand and Annie Bell collided approaching the first turn checking Annie Bell. Who's Irod and Claretown Happy collided approaching the first turn checking Who's Irod. All Inn Youi, Tanazoo, Bound Two Affair and Annie Bell collided on the first turn checking Bound Two Affair.
Who's Irod was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil muscle and a thoraco lumbar injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
