A pre race sample was taken from Kouta Excuses.
Pomp Fiction and Showtime Mystery were quick to begin. Lektra Blicavs and We Wish collided soon after the start. Kouta Excuses checked off Pippy Dippy approaching the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Boo. Pomp Fiction, Showtime Mystery and Lektra Blicavs collided on the first turn, checking Kouta Excuses. Lektra Blicavs cramped in the home straight and lost ground as a result.
Lektra Blicavs was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms M.Shaw the representative of the greyhound Lektra Blicavs. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that Lektra Blicavs must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
