Duce Royal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hock, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr C. Colaiacova, the kennel representative for the greyhound, Duce Royal.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Duce Royal with marring.  Mr Colaiacova pleaded not guilty to the charge, Duce Royal was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lylah's Way and Dyna Chancer were quick to begin.  Saddle Tank was slow to begin.  Jaclyn Bale and Sable Sass collided soon after the start.  Jaclyn Bale checked off Counting Pennies on the first turn.  Xava Allen and Counting Pennies collided on the first turn.  Varuchi Pass checked off Jaclyn Bale on the first turn and collided with Sable Sass.  Lylah's Way and Dyna Chancer collided several times on the first turn.  Counting Pennies checked off Jaclyn Bale in the back straight and collided with Varuchi Pass.  Varuchi Pass and Counting Pennies collided on the third turn.  Saddle Tank, Jaclyn Bale and Sable Sass collided on the third turn.  Varuchi Pass, Saddle Tank and Sable Sass collided approaching the home turn.  Lylah's Way and Xava Allen collided on the home turn.  Counting Pennies, Saddle Tank and Sable Sass collided on the home turn. 

Xava Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the left front foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Azkaban was slow to begin.  Meehan Sox checked off Bugatti Quest soon after the start.  Rig Fifty Five, Bugatti Quest and Gateway To Eden collided on the first turn checking Bugatti Quest, Gateway To Eden and Meehan Sox.  Bugatti Quest and Meehan Sox collided entering the front straight checking Bugatti Quest.  Rig Fifty Five crossed to the rail approaching the second turn checking Miss Innings.  Gateway To Eden crossed to the rail approaching the second turn checking Bugatti Quest and Meehan Sox.  Bugatti Quest checked off Miss Innings on the home turn checking Azkaban.

Bugatti Quest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left fore foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sienna's Gem was quick to begin.  Dyna Carnie was slow to begin.  Trianna and Allen Yani collided soon after the start.  Dyna Elvio checked off Allen Yani on the first turn.  Bellario checked off Allen Yani on the third turn checking Dyna Elvio.  Allen Yani checked off Brazilian Brae on the third turn.  Brazilian Brae checked off Allen Yani on the home turn and collided with Dyna Elvio as a result.

Dyna Aviator and Dyna Evelyn were slow to begin.  Black Spyro and Louie Lasagna collided soon after the start.  Dyna Aviator brushed the running rail approaching the first turn checking Dyna Aviator and Dyna Evelyn.  Dyna Evelyn checked off Spyfection in the back straight.  Slinky Inky and Black Spyro collided on the third turn checking Black Spyro.  Zipping Paris raced ungenerously and collided with Louie Lasagna on the third turn.  Spyfection and Dyna Evelyn collided entering the home straight checking Spyfection.

Zipping Paris was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Ms. C. Jones, Trainer of Zipping Paris regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the third turn.

Down Mexico Way and Warbo were quick to begin and collided soon after the start.  Shadale and Vostok collided soon after the start checking Shadale.  Shadale checked off Victor Dora approaching the first turn.  Envy Heist and Warbo collided approaching the first turn checking Warbo.  Tiggerlong Thief, Warbo, Vostok and Victor Dora collided on the first turn checking Victor Dora and Warbo.  Shadale raced wide in the back straight.  Tiggerlong Thief, Down Mexico Way and Vostok collided on the third turn checking Tiggerlong Thief and Down Mexico Way.  Victor Dora and Shadale collided approaching the home turn checking Shadale.

Shadale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front foot, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R. Redenbach about Shadale's overall performance this evening. It was mutually accepted that the slow beginning combined with the severity and volume of interference that Shadale encountered in running, explained the performance.

Jeebus Bird and Surf In Vane were slow to begin.  Zou Star, Alpha Themis and Allen Gable collided approaching the first turn checking Alpha Themis.  Jeebus Bird and Allen Gable collided on the first turn.  Quartz Vein and Surf In Vane collided on the first turn.  Alpha Themis and Allen Gable collided in the front straight checking Alpha Themis.  Zou Star and Cardamom collided on the second turn.  Alpha Themis checked off Allen Gable on the second turn.  Cardamom checked off Zou Star approaching the home turn.  Zou Star and Cardamom raced tightly on the home turn.  Zou Star and Cardamom collided in the home straight checking Zou Star.

Mystery Ride was quick to begin.  Crackerjack Doug was slow to begin.  In A Spin and Petadale collided soon after the start.  Reckoning, In A Spin and Unite Bale collided on the first turn checking Dyna Gavin and Crackerjack Doug causing In A Spin to fall.

In A Spin was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lost/torn nail to the left foreleg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards inspected the racing surface on the first turn where In A Spin fell.  The surface was safe and suitable for racing.

Roman Around and Miss Holland were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Miss Holland, causing Roman Around to fall as a result.  Bee Rose, Mutant, Destini Mermaid, Roger Express, El Grand Knocka and Red Rocket Sox collided approaching the first turn checking Destini Mermaid and El Grand Knocka.  Mutant checked off Roger Express on the second turn.  Red Rocket Sox and Miss Holland collided on the second turn checking Miss Holland.

Roman Around was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Spudtacular was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toe and a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Tom Dailly regarding the performance of Spudtacular.  Mr Dailly advised that Spudtacular tends to find the 525m on his limit at this stage of his career and will now return to race over more suitable distances. (450m)

A sample was taken from Zpping Maisy, the winner of the event.

Cristalle Max was a late scratching at 6.22pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to diarrhoea.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

King Colt was quick to begin.  Dark Taboo was slow to begin.  Natural Rhythm and Sariah Allen collided soon after the start.  Sariah Allen and Marcus Daking collided approaching the first turn checking Marcus Daking.  King Colt and Crackerjack Kack collided on the first turn.  Crackerjack Kack, Natural Rhythm and Sariah Allen collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Crackerjack Kack was turned sideways as a result causing Crackerjack Kack and Sariah Allen to shift out and race wide.  Jimmy Got Style and Marcus Daking collided on the first turn checking Marcus Daking.  Natural Rhythm checked off Marcus Daking in the back straight and again on the third turn checking Crackerjack Kack.
