Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Britton, the trainer of Pippy Dippy, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pippy Dippy last raced on 3/9/17. Mr. Britton stated that the greyhound had sustained a left monkey muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Pippy Dippy.
Showtime Mystery was quick to begin. Bobby Tokaam, Storm Search and Kouta Excuses were slow to begin.
Pomp Fiction checked off Bobby Tokaam approaching the first turn. Showtime Mystery, Bobby Tokaam and Pippy Dippy collided approaching the first turn checking Showtime Mystery and Bambalam Tilly. Storm Search, Leo's Gift, Pomp Fiction and Kouta Excuses collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Bobby Tokaam and Pippy Dippy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Leo's Gift raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
