Ima Rig was vetted following the event. It was reported there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jason Formosa, trainer of Ima Rig, regarding the greyhound's performance. Mr. Formosa advised that in his opinion Ima Rig would be better suited to races over a shorter distance than tonight's event, and added that in future he would seek to nominate Ima Rig for Tier 3 race meetings.

Lady Pippa was quick to begin.  Cades County was slow to begin.

Apricot Candy checked off Zipping Hazel approaching the first turn.  Dyna Lenae checked off Velocity Alaina approaching the first turn.  Cades County clipped the heels of Zipping Hazel on the first turn checking Cades County.  Apricot Candy checked off Cades County approaching the home turn.  Traveller's Lady raced wide approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Apricot Candy and Traveller's Lady collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Britton, the trainer of Pippy Dippy, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pippy Dippy last raced on 3/9/17. Mr. Britton stated that the greyhound had sustained a left monkey muscle injury.
