An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Despacito, engaged in this event, on 4th December 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes to allow a Wagga harness race to be completed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Speedy Ryder.
Despacito and Henley Bale were quick to begin. Lightwood Miss and Henley Bale collided soon after the start checking Lightwood Miss. Speedy Ryder, Joraddi and Henley Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Henley Bale and Zed Merrett. Speedy Ryder checked off Rocky Gee Rocks on the first turn.
