Zipping Danii was a late scratching at 11:33am due to weight variation(GAR 39).A 10 day stand down period was imposed. TrainerMr S Collins was fined the sum of $100.
Mrs P Patterson, trainer of Far Clif Dyno, declared a new weight of 35.3 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Far Clif Dyno last raced at 34.2 kg.
Dazzling Melody, Far Clif Dyno and Dashing Dream were quick to begin. Mr. Candyman and Cool Al were slow to begin.
Far Clif Dyno and Dashing Dream collided soon after the start, checking Dashing Dream. Aeroplane Hank checked off Telefork approaching the first turn, checking Mr. Candyman which brushed the running rail as a result. Cool Al and Far Clif Dyno collided on the first turn, checking Far Clif Dyno which lost considerable ground.
Far Clif Dyno raced wide on the home turn and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
