Maximum Magic, Destini Cavalier and Ice Cold Yug were slow to begin. Almani Inferno failed to pursue the lure with due commitment soon after the start. Almani Inferno and Destini Cavalier collided approaching the first turn, checking Almani Inferno. Ice Cold Yug, Pandora's Proof, Lully Singh and Two Triple Six collided on the first turn, checking Two Triple Six and Pandora's Proof. Maximum Magic and Almani Inferno collided on the first turn, checking Almani Inferno. Destini Cavalier and Almani Inferno raced wide on the first turn. Lully Singh and Destini Cavalier collided in the back straight, checking both greyhounds. Destini Cavalier checked off the heels of Ice Cold Yug on the third turn. Maximum Magic, Almani Inferno and Lully Singh collided approaching the home turn, checking Lully Singh. Almani Inferno checked off Maximum Magic in the home straight.

Two Triple Six was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the spine, right deltoid muscle and right trapezius muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Cartechini, the trainer of the greyhound Almani Inferno regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Almani Inferno was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the toe on the right hind foot and right deltoid muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Almani Inferno with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cartechini pleaded guilty to the charge, Almani Inferno was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
