Steward's Report
Stewards inspected the track from the first turn to the home turn prior to the running of this event and found it safe for racing .
This race was delayed by approximately one and a half minutes due to an injury in the previous race plus a short gap between races.
Omega Sniper was slow to begin.. Avon Glory, Aston Noir and Ishmy Girl collided soon after the start checking Aston Noir and Ishmy Girl. Avon Glory faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.
Avon Glory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanased.
