Steward's Report
Cruising Stella, Invictus Ester and Pearson Pride were slow to begin. Agent Waddle, Cash Infusion and Absolute Breeze collided soon after the start checking Cash Infusion. Agent Waddle, Cruising Stella and Cash Infusion collided on the first turn checking Agent Waddle and Cash Infusion. Cruising stella and Pearson Pride collided on the home turn. Agent Waddle and Cruising Stella collided entering the home straight. Cash Infusion veered in and marred Pearson Pride in the home straight. Cash Infusion, Cruising Stella, Agent Waddle and Pearson Pride collided approaching the winning post checking all four greyhounds.
Cash Infusion was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Chatwin, the trainer of the greyhound Cash Infusion regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Cash Infusion with marring. Mr. Chatwin pleaded guilty to the charge, Cash Infusion was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
