Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Chatwin, the trainer of the greyhound Cash Infusion regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Cash Infusion with marring.  Mr. Chatwin pleaded guilty to the charge, Cash Infusion was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cruella Deville was slow to begin.  Naughty Cazza, Daisy Patch, Fawn Nova and Enchanting Image collided approaching the first turn checking Daisy Patch and Fawn Nova.  Daisy Patch and Fawn Nova collided on the first turn.  Naughty Cazza, Screaming Oaks and Cruella Deville collided on the first turn checking Naughty Cazza.  Daisy Patch checked off Naughty Cazza approaching the home turn.  Naughty Cazza, Screaming Oaks and Cruella Deville collided on the home turn checking Fawn Nova.

Fawn Nova was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing and a laceration to the right hind foot, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Charlie Rose was slow to begin.  Mickey Rawson, Royal Bruno and Our Charlie Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Mickey Rawson and Royal Bruno.  Invictus Legion checked off Our Charlie Rose on the first turn.  Cheeky Cindy and Kiss Me Nicki collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Cheeky Cindy and Royal Bruno collided entering the home straight.

This race was delayed by approximately one and a half minutes  due to an injury in the previous race plus a short gap between races.

Omega Sniper was slow to begin..  Avon Glory, Aston Noir and Ishmy Girl collided soon after the start checking Aston Noir and Ishmy Girl.  Avon Glory faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.

Avon Glory was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanased.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. C. Cook, the trainer of Master Mordecai regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Master Mordecai last raced on 18th June, 2017.  Mrs Cook stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels.

Vindication, Stolen and Master Mordecai were slow to begin.  La Petite, Vindication and Stolen collided approaching the first turn checking La Petite and Vindication.  La Petite and Vindication collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing La Petite to contact the running rail.  La Petite and Vindication collided several times approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground as a result.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Call Me Tickets trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 33.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.37,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.50 lengths.  Call Me Tickets was Cleared to have Blinkers removed.
