Macka's Victorem and Subscapularis were slow to begin. My Fernando Tim went up with the lids at box rise. Subscapularis, Rapid Rock and My Fernando Tim collided approaching the first turn checking Rapid Rock. Dyna Beryl checked off Sammi Jay approaching the home turn. My Fernando Tim checked off Subscapularis approaching the home turn. Storm Of All and Rapid Rock collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Macka's Victorem and Dyna Beryl collided on the home turn. Sammi Jay and Rapid Rock collided in the home straight. Sammi Jay, Scapularis and Storm Of All collided approaching the winning post.
Macka's Victorem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was suffering heat stress. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
