Steward's Report
Windsor Reign was slow to begin. Dessy Fozz and Argyle Bonnie collided on the first turn checking Argyle Bonnie. Open Mind and Milly's Choice collided entering the back straight. Argyle Bonnie stumbled in the back straight. Milly's Choice and She's Wicked collided approaching the second turn. Pyramid Flyer and Windsor reign collided on the second turn checking Pyramid Flyer. Dessy Fozz raced wide in the home straight. Argyle Bonnie marred Pyramid Flyer in the home straight.
Argyle Bonnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Jarvis, the representative of the greyhound Argyle Bonnie regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Argyle Bonnie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Jarvis pleaded guilty to the charge, Argyle Bonnie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
