Steward's Report
Aldrich was quick to begin.
Dynamite Danger checked off Swift Yakama on the first turn. Sisco Dun and Absolute Breeze collided on the first turn. Dynamite Danger, Inside Game and Lektra Kayee collided approaching the home turn. Swift Yakama marred Aldrich on the home turn. Dynamite Danger and Destini Agitator collided on the home turn. Inside Game and Sisco Dun collided on the home turn. Swift Yakama eased in the home straight.
Swift Yakama was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right fibula, right pectoral and left groin injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr C. Smith, the trainer of the greyhound Swift Yakama regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Swift Yakama with marring. Mr Smith guilty to the charge, Swift Yakama was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
