Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Evie Lass, engaged this event on Tuesday 14th November 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
I'm Neegan was a late scratching at 11:00am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a lost right rear nail. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Woodleigh Guy was a late scratching at 11:05am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Gregory Graham was fined the sum of $100.
Ballistic Gem and Evie Lass were slow to begin.
Voluptuous Blue and Atigrado collided on the first turn checking Ballistic Gem and Voluptuous Blue. Voluptuous Blue and Penny Rocks collided approaching the home turn severely checking Penny Rocks which became unbalanced. Ballistic Gem and Voluptuous Blue raced wide in the home straight.
Evie Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Penny Rocks was vetted and re-vetted following event 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle and right hip injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
