Crackerjack Tim was quick to begin.
Black Legend and Tomdor were slow to begin.
Sidey and Arokolok Lil' Gal collided approaching the first turn. Arokolok Lil' Gal galloped on the heels of Sporto Brian on the first turn checking Hard Luck Story and severely checking Sidey, Arokolok Lil' Gal, Black Legend and Sporto Brian. Tomdor raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. K. Lloyd regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Black Legend. Stewards directed that Black Legend be boxed first in future events.
