Static Charge checked off Dashing Dyson in the back straight. In A Jam, Lush Life, Dashing Dyson and Bottle Of Plonk collided on the second turn checking Bottle Of Plonk, In A Jam and Lush Life. Static Charge galloped on the heels of Lush Life approaching the home turn and again on the  home turn checking both greyhounds. In A Jam and Charity Charm raced wide in the home straight.

Ms. A. Wharton, handler of Myrrdon declared a new weight of 34.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Myrrdon last raced at 33.5kg.

Crackerjack Ale, Projectile and Flying Sam collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Ale and Flying Sam. Projectile galloped on the heels of Classy Diva on the first turn checking Canadash and Cool Al, severely checking Leeroy Fox, Projectile, Flying Sam and Macfid Magic and causing Classy Diva to fall. Macfid Magic and Projectile collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Classy Diva was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right quadriceps injury and a back injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Gresham was a late scratching at  10.58am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms.D. Carr was fined the sum of $100.

Tomdor raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. K. Lloyd regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Black Legend.  Stewards directed that Black Legend be boxed first in future events.

Foxy Whip checked off Lord Kitchener approaching the home turn. Destini Laredo and Avatar Octane collided on the home turn checking Avatar Octane and Foxy Whip. Lord Kitchener checked off Destini Laredo entering the home straight checking Avatar Octane. Destini Baby checked off Trademark Style in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Wellington, the trainer of Course You Will, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Course You Will last raced on 17th May, 2017.  Mr. Wellington stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a torn back muscle injury and after being on season.

Avatar Dodge and Glass Half Full collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight, checking Avatar Dodge. Ima Sapphire and Merl's Blaze collided in the home straight.

Very Venom and All Inn Tana collided on the home turn and in the home straight checking All Inn Tana. Black Star Alert and Maximum Tess raced wide in the home straight.

What Stopping Ya and Emi's Boy Murph collided on the home turn severely checking Emi's Boy Murph which fell and collided with Scott Cosmic as a result.

Emi's Boy Murph was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spinal fracture, and was humanely euthanased. 

Jessio Fozzio was a late scratching at 7:02pm (12/11)  due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Lektra Forrest trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 36.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.19, the greyhound won by a margin of 10 lengths.  Lektra Forrest was Cleared.
