A pre-race sample was taken from Here's The Trump upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Magenta Gold went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin (3 lengths). Ziggy Punter was slow to begin. Here's The Trump was quick to begin. Ziggy Punter faltered approaching the first turn and failed to finish as a result. This section of the track was inspected following the event and found suitable for racing. Calabasas and Marcus Daking collided on the first turn. Mr. Pendles checked off the heels of Marcus Daking entering the back straight. Here's The Trump, Marcus Daking and Magenta Gold collided approaching the winning post.
