Steward's Report
Aye Drainer was slow to begin. Dr. Zeeva and Nicky Neo collided soon after the start. Wot Price Boofa and Let Him Ride collided approaching the first turn checking Let Him Ride. Wot Price Boofa and Violet Sky collided approaching the first turn checking Violet Sky. Wot Price Boofa eased on the first turn checking Nicky Neo and severely checking Tru Blu Keats and Violet Sky. Wot Price Boofa and Let Him Ride collided on the home turn checking Let Him Ride.
Wot Price Boofa was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Allen the trainer of the greyhound Wot Price Boofa regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Wot Price Boofa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Allen pleaded not guilty to the charge, Wot Price Boofa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
