Steward's Report
Jakesta was slow to begin. Mystic Melody, Joycee Rae and Jake Delight collided soon after the start checking Joycee Rae and Jake Delight. Jake Delight checked off Jakesta approaching the first turn. Jake Delight galloped on the heels of Joycee Rae on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Sprightly Fella and Jakesta collided approaching the winning post. Twilight Liason lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Twilight Liason was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the lower back muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
