Another Bekim was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left groin muscle, no stand down period was imposed.

Twilight Liason was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the lower back muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Bevvies Bullet was a late scratching at 6:00pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the right pectoral muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

No Laying Back was quick to begin.  Money Dud, Just Teefa and Shazza's Gift were slow to begin.  Money Dud and Just Teefa collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Tiger Cabang was vetted following the event after performing below market expectations.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Nitro Heroine and All Inn Youi were quick to begin.  Latissimus Dorsi was slow to begin.  Nitro Heroine and I'm A Lady collided approaching the first turn checking Nitro Heroine.  Little Sidey galloped on the heels of Nitro Heroine on the first turn, severely checking Nitro Heroine, checking Little Sidey.  Chicken Parma checked off Cawbourne Lambo on the first turn.  I'm A Lady galloped on the heels of All Inn Youi approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Cawbourne Lambo and I'm A Lady collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds, checking Latissimus Dorsi as a result.  Little Sidey raced wide on the home turn.  Cawbourne Lambo and Latissimus Dorsi collided in the home straight checking Cawbourne Lambo.

Chinotto and Micro Moo were quick to begin.  Hagrid Grange and Blackheart Bruce were slow to begin.  Ginny Allen checked off Hagrid Grange on the first turn and raced wide as a result.  Bushman's Melody, Hagrid Grange and Blackheart Bruce collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking all three greyhounds.  Blackheart Bruce eased in the home straight, severely checking Hagrid Grange.

Blackheart Bruce was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, left flexor tendon, left saddle muscle and right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr C. Colaiacovo, Trainer of Blackheart Bruce.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Blackheart Bruce with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Colaiacovo pleaded guilty to the charge, Blackheart Bruce was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (All Tracks), and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (All Tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Boots , the trainer of Bushman's Legend regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bushman's Legend last raced on 7 March 2017.  Mr Boots stated that the reason was the removal of one testicle.

Bad Baloney was quick to begin.  Blue And Cool, Sicario and Little Boy Jed were slow to begin.  Blue And Cool and Clovalley Arnie collided on the first turn checking Clovalley Arnie.  Rubba Wilson checked off Gotta Little Big on the first turn checking Sicario.  Bad Baloney and Gotta Little Big collided on the first turn checking Bad Baloney.  Bushman's Legend checked off Little Boy Jed on the first turn.  Sicario checked off Rubba Wilson approaching the home turn.  Sicario and Rubba Wilson collided entering the home straight checking Rubba Wilson.
