Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Briganti, the handler of Shankee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Shankee last raced on 5 May 2017. Mr. Briganti stated that the greyhound was resuming to racing following an injury to the left metacarpal. Mr. M. Briganti, declared a new weight of 31.6 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shankee last raced at 30.1kgs.
A pre race sample was taken from Wanda Bale.
Teflon Tony was slow to begin. Intensify and Lektra Rival collided approaching the first turn, checking Lektra Rival. Mi Blue Day, Intensify and Lektra Rival collided approaching the first turn. Intensify and Bombora Comet collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Teflon Tony checked off Bombora Comet approaching the home turn.
