Steward's Report
Mr W. Bocquet, trainer of Muchas Gracias declared a new weight of 28.2 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Muchas Gracias last raced at 29.4 kg.
Scorching Lucy was slow to begin. Kraken Elroy, Sweet Angel, Toby's Taxi and Nitro Heroine collided soon after the start checking Sweet Angel and Toby's Taxi. Scorching Lucy, Nitro Heroine, Toby's Taxi, Sweet Angel and Hartley Steph collided on the first turn, severely checking Hartley Steph and Sweet Angel. Sweet Angel fell as a result. Micro Moo and Scorching Lucy collided on the first turn checking Scorching Lucy. Nitro Heroine and Kraken Elroy raced wide in the home straight.
Hartley Steph was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both shoulder muscles, right fibula, right pencil and both triangle muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Sweet Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and both groin muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
