Vanderville Kid and Gotta Rush collided soon after the start.
Vanderville Kid, Gotta Rush and Auburn Gal collided at the 250m mark, checking all three greyhounds.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Fasttack became unavailable mid-way through the kennelling process, as a result the remaining two thirds of the greyhounds were kennelled manually and subsequently the kennels closed late. Following these dealys, all races were put back one race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Shezza's Nitro trialled over the 300m from box one, weight 25.5kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four.The time of the trial was 16.54, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12.75L. Shezza's Nitro was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr James Shaw, the handler of Hurry Slowly, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Hurry Slowly last raced on 14 July 2016. Mr Shaw stated that the greyhound had sustained a right stopper ligament injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Hurry Slowly trialled over the 300m from box three, weight 33.2kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 16.54, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.25L. Hurry Slowly was cleared.
Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Tiger Frost trialled over the 350m from box six, weight 35.9kg. The time of the trial was 19.73, Tiger Frost was cleared.
