Hugh Allen, Mr. Delahoya and Starbright Vic collided soon after the start. Huge Allen checked off Mr. Delahoya approaching the first turn checking Dyna Quarter. Welshman, Dorrigo Bale and Mr. Delahoya collided several times approaching the first turn checking Welshman, Dorrigo Bale, Mr. Delahoya, Far Clif Dyno and Dyna Quarter. Welshman, Dorrigo Bale and Mr. Delahoya collided on the first turn causing Dorrigo Bale to fall. Far Clif Dyno, Mr. Delahoya and Dyna Quarter collided approaching the home turn checking Dyna Quarter. Starbright Vic checked off Huge Allen in the home straight and raced wide.
