Hurunui Jack, Golden Tears and Carry On Elvis were slow to begin.  Hurunui Jack and Jordy Paige collided on the first turn checking Jordy Paige.  Ginger Menang and Hurunui Jack collided on the first turn.  Ginger Menang and Carry On Elvis collided approaching the home turn.  Golden Tears checked off Ginger Menang approaching the home turn.  Golden Tears and Jordy Paige collided entering the home straight.

Gotham Queen and Myrniong Corner were slow to begin.  Blackpool Chuck and Yarraman Ace collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Gotham Queen, Yarraman Ace and Myrniong Corner.  Yarraman Ace fell as a result.  Blackpool Chuck and Rockin' Rico collided approaching the home turn.

Yarraman Ace was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Tito Mojito was a late scratching at 10.48a.m. due to a wrist injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. E. Hamilton, trainer of Allen Dynamo declared a new weight of 32.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Allen Dynamo last raced at 33.6kg.

Windsor Prize was slow to begin.  Crackerjack Cam, Zelemar Zest, All Inn Amy and Windsor Prize collided approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Cam and All Inn Amy collided on the first turn checking All Inn Amy.
