A pre-race sample was taken from Good Humour.
Roman Blue Jay was quick to begin. Good Humour was slow to begin. Cullquin Alexis, Kraken Betty and Silver Banjo collided approaching the first turn checking Kraken Betty. Roman Blue Jay and Cullquin Alexis collided on the first turn. William Cabang, All Inn Summer, Dream Wave and Kraken Betty collided on the first turn checking All Inn Summer and Kraken Betty, severely checking Dream Wave. Good Humour, Roman Blue Jay and Cullquin Alexis collided entering the home straight causing Cullquin Alexis to race wide as a result. Good Humour and Roman Blue Jay collided in the home straight.
Dream Wave was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
