Hit The Runway, which tailed off in the back straight, was vetted and revetted following race 6 . It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right back muscle and a spike wound to the left hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  

Farmer Brown, which performed below market expectations, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr D Fisher, trainer of the greyhound, who agreed that the performance was disappointing, however he was unable to offer any tangible reason for the performance this evening. Mr Fisher undertook to report to Stewards should any abnormalities become apparent in the coming days.

Kacina Allen was quick to begin. Cheese Ya Later and Alezan collided approaching the first turn. Acting on a confirmed phone call from trainer Mr K. Eyles, Raven On was a late scratching at 5.47pm due to being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
