Shy Freddie was quick to begin. Dr. Eleonora was slow to begin. Swift Bunny went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Wise Harry and Dewana Interest collided soon after the start, checking Wise Harry. Mallee Spring and Wise Harry collided approaching the first turn. Shy Freddie, Shocking Onyx and Dewana Interest collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Rival, Wise Harry and Mallee Spring collided on the first turn, checking Mallee Spring and Wise Harry. Swift Bunny contacted the running rail approaching the second turn and lost ground as a result. Mallee Spring checked off Swift Bunny in the back straight.
Swift Bunny was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
