Steward's Report
Who Told Simon was a late scratching at 6.52pm by order of Stewards due to non arrival after trainer Mr M. Lloyd was caught in traffic disruptions on the way to the course. No stand down penalty was imposed.
Liam and Verne Allen were quick to begin. Made First, Dr. Darkrai and Sarah Swift collided soon after the start. Verne Allen crossed to the rail soon after the start. Petra Allen checked off Verne Allen soon after the start. Liam and Doobstar collided on the first turn. Dr. Darkrai faltered approaching the second turn and lost considerable ground. Doobstar checked off Petra Allen approaching the home turn.
Dr. Darkrai was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
