Vinaka Oscar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstring, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tanoan Creek galloped on the heels of Brazen Blue on the first turn checking Brazen Blue. Helen Allen checked off Zipping Hawk on the first turn and collided with Tanoan Creek severely checking Helen Allen which stumbled and fell; Brazen Blue was checked as a result. Zipping Hawk and Wanda Bale collided on the third turn. Deadline To Meet and Wanda Bale collided approaching the home turn. Saint Flynn checked off Wanda Bale approaching the home turn. Tanoan Creek checked off Wanda Bale on the home turn.

Helen Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right fore radius and ulna, and was humanely euthanased.

Brazen Blue, which tailed off, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Jerry checked off Opal Nera approaching the second turn. Shadale and Aston Dinnigan collided entering the home straight checking both.

Who Told Simon was a late scratching at 6.52pm by order of Stewards due to non arrival after trainer Mr M. Lloyd was caught in traffic disruptions on the way to the course. No stand down penalty was imposed.

Petra Allen checked off Verne Allen soon after the start. Liam and Doobstar collided on the first turn. Dr. Darkrai faltered approaching the second turn and lost considerable ground. Doobstar checked off Petra Allen approaching the home turn.

Farmer Brown was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left fore toenail.  No stand down period was imposed.

Noosa Jet was quick to begin. Louie Lasagna and Noosa Jet collided soon after the start. Louis Lasagna, Our Turbo Boy, Papa Chippy and Myrniong Corner collided on the first turn. Papa Chippy checked off Myrniong Corner on the first and collided with Meehan Sox. Louie Lasagna checked off Myrniong Corner approaching the home turn. Louie Lasagna tired over the concluding stages.

Louie Lasagna, which performed below market expectations, was vetted after the event and after being re-vetted, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right fore sesamoid, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
