A pre race sample was taken from Hey There Barbie.
Golden Blaze was quick to begin. Deadset Jet was slow to begin. Emi's Boy Badger, Supreme Prince, Advice Aplenty and Maximum Maddy collided approaching the first turn checking Emi's Boy Badger. Deadset Jet and Emi's Boy Badger collided approaching the home turn checking Deadset Jet. Supreme Prince and Maximum Maddy collided approaching the home turn. Hey There Barbie checked off Golden Blaze in the home straight. Little Mix and Advice Aplenty collided in the home straight.
Deadset Jet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps and biceps and a right tarsal sprain.
