Carlanna Tegan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.B Shillington, the handler of Alen Yobo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Allen Yobo last raced on 3rd of February 2016 and is returning to race after suffering a hock injury.

Vegas Again and Bazz Kebab were slow to begin. Back Road and Little Warren collided soon after the start. Back Road, Little Warren and Maeby Allen collided on the first turn, checking Back Road and Little Written. Vegas Again and Spring Drifter collided approaching the home turn. Bazz Kebab raced wide on the home turn, causing Stevron Autos to race wide. Bazz Kebab and Stevron Autos collided in the home straight. 

Dawn Cruise and He Throws Bombs were slow to begin. Glen Quagmire checked off Home Runner approaching the first turn. Emi's Boy Murph and Annunaki collided approaching the first turn. Annunaki and Glen Quagmire collided approaching the home turn. Annunaki and Glen Quagmire collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.F.Meyer, the trainer of Matlin's Tornado regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Martlin's Tornado last raced on 12th of February 2016 and is returning to race after suffering a back muscle injury.

Advice Aplenty stumbled at box rise. Schmoo checked off Jack's Prince approaching the first turn, checking Matlin's Tornado. Elite Stress checked off Ice Cold Bundy on the first turn. Elite Stress checked off Schmoo approaching the home turn. 

Mighty Sam was slow to begin. See Him Run checked off Six Green Thumbs soon after the start. Moonlight Cruise checked off Mighty Sam approaching the first turn. Six Green Thumbs, Left Is Right, Reignlee, Chief Brit and Mighty Sam collided on the first turn, checking Chief Brit and severely checking Mighty Sam. Moonlight Cruise, Chief Brit and See Him Run collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Mighty Sam checked off Chief Brit approaching the winning post. 

Mighty Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right fore leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.M.Niele, the trainer of Hamilton regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hamilton last raced on 1st of February 2016 and is returning to race after a change of kennel.

Pure Sacrifice was a late scratching at 3:33pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M.Edwards was fined the sum of $100.

Suspicious Joe was slow to begin. Myalla Five was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Nirranda Ripper and Duporth Avenue collided approaching the first turn, checking Duporth Avenue. Elite Circle checked off Coursing Bale on the home turn. Oh Lele Peter and Coursing Bale collided entering the home straight. Don Fire raced wide in the home straight. Elite Circle checked off Don's Licker in the home straight. 

Don's Racer was a late scratching at 12:52pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
