Hanover Bay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right foreleg shoulder, right hindleg fibula and right hindleg triangle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Trewin, the trainer of Hanover Bay regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  Mr D Trewin pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Mr D Trewin was found guilty and fined the sum of $200.

This Is Nice was a late scratching at 2:34 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to an elevated temperature.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Quiet Talk and Transcend were slow to begin.  Work Mate, Just For Me and Menindee collided soon after the start, checking Just For Me.  Work Mate, Menindee and Keep Up collided on the first turn, checking Keep Up, Menindee and Transcend.  Transcend checked off Keep Up in the home straight.

See Sixty Three was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the shoulder and elbow.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr M Chilcott the trainer of See Sixty Three regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Brazen Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right foreleg shoulders and left and right hindleg calves, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Good Boloney was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rayvon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right foreleg shoulder, left and right hindleg fibulas, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Jarvis Maximus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left foreleg shoulder injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed 14 minutes to repair and test the lure as a result of the malfunction from event 11.
