Ima Wildfire was quick to begin.  Amaroo Gonzales was slow to begin.  Amaroo Gonzales was checked off Old Joes Lad approaching the first turn.  Old Joes Lad and Power Burst collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Old Joes Lad galloped on Power Burst on the second turn severley checking both greyhounds, Power Burst stumbled as a result.  Aston Quich raced wide on the second turn. Ima Wildfire and Why Not Roy collided entering the home straight.  Power Burst cramped in the home straight. Ima Wildfire and Why Not Roy collided approaching the winning post.

Power Burst was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hock and left metatarsus, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. P. Andrews the trainer of the greyhound Power Burst.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dynamite Dex was slow to begin.  Wadelock Cappa and Tree Climber Liv collided approaching the first turn.  Moe Magic crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dynamite Dex and Usain Gilbert and severely checking Dr. Luvdisc, Wadelock Cappa and Tree Climber Liv.  Maximus Warrior was checked off Hey Bail on the first turn checking Moe Magic.  Dr. Luvdisc and Tree Climber Liv collided entering the back straight and again on the second turn checking Dr. Luvdisc.  Moe Magic was checked off Tree Climber Liv on the home turn checking Dr. Luvdisc and Wadelock Cappa.

Elswyk Max was quick to begin.  French Affair and Saturday Sip were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Saturday Sip. Our First Lady, Dr. Dynomite and It Gets Better collided on the first turn checking Dr. Dynomite. French Affair and Californa Levo collided on the first turn checking French Affair. French Affair was checked off It Gets Better on the second turn checking Dr. Dynomite. Saturnday Sip and Californa Levo collided on the second turn checking Californa Levo. Saturday Sip and Our First Lady collided entering the home straight.

Oh Lele Simon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn toe nail on the right hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Miss Deena and Elswyk Gal were quick to begin.  Ninetymile Bill, Rerod Magic and Lady Tron were slow to begin.  Ninetymile Bill, Rerod Magic, Lady Tron and Rusty Mia collided on the first turn checking Rerod Magic, Lady Tron and Rusty Mia.  Ninetymile Bill and Ultimate Conor collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Ninetymile Bill.

Satisfactory trial results (GAR 77A):-

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Barnard the trainer of Golden Dreams regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Golden Dreams last raced on 20/09/15.  Ms. Barnard stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a dislocated right biceps tendon.  Golden Dreams trialled over 395 metres from box 1, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.16 secs, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 11.5 lengths.  Golden Dreams was cleared.

Satisfactory trial results:-

Magnificent Pete trialled over 525 metres from box 1, weight 31.6kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 31.66 secs, the greyhound beaten by a margin of .5 length.  Magnificent Pete was not cleared.

Our Lady Limonite trialled over 525 metres from box 6, weight 27.6kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 31.66 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of .5 length.  Our Lady Limonite was not cleared.

Bebington trialled over 525 metres from box 8, weight 24.4kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 31.66 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.25 lengths.   Bebington was cleared.
