Louis Mini Girl was quick to begin. Dynamite Drifter was slow to begin. Joey Moetis, Crash And Bash and Lucky Holly collided soon after the start, checking Crash And Bash. Oddball Quick and Lucky Holly collided approaching the first turn, checking Lucky Holly. Orchard Road, Louis Mini Girl, Joey Moetis and Oddball Quick collided on the first turn, checking Louis Mini Girl and Lucky Holly, and severely checking Joey Moetis and Dynamite Drifter. Lucky Holly and Delcorn Potts collided approaching the home turn. Joey Moetis checked off Dynamite Drifter approaching the home turn. Dynamite Drifter checked off Louis Mini Girl on the home turn and collided with Delcorn Potts, checking Louis Mini Girl and Joey Moetis, and causing Dynamite Drfiter to fall. Delcorn Potts raced wide in the home straight. 

Dynamite Drifter was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Mr. B. McKenna, representative of Missy's Creek declared a new weight of 29.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Missy's Creek last raced at 28.5kg.

Missy's Creek was quick to begin. Drop Freddy was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Tally Ho Kate, Tally Ho Jack and Burch Day collided approaching the first turn, checking Tally Ho Kate. Tally Ho Jack and Burch Day collided several times approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Burch Day galloped on the heels of Erasion on the first turn. Tally Ho Kate checked off Tally Ho Jack approaching the home turn. Erasion and Drop Freddy collided on the home turn, causing Erasion to gallop on the heels of Alyssa's Girl, checking Drop Freddy and Burch Day, and severely checking Alyssa's Girl, Erasion fell as a result. 

Erasion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left neck muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Missy's Creek – placed 2nd in the event.

This event was delayed by 3 minutes due to Sky Chanel commitments at Forsbury Park. 

Jarvis Rhode and Golden Fang were quick to begin. Wicked Intent was slow to begin. Flash Deeds, More Irish and Allen Clown collided soon after the start. Robyn's Boy and Allen Clown collided approaching the first turn, checking Flash Deeds. Golden Fang and Allen Clown collided on the first turn, checking Golden Fang. Robyn's Boy and Allen Clown collided approaching the home turn. More Irish raced wide on the home turn. 

After concerns were raised regarding the state of the track, Stewards inspected the surface prior to the running of this event, although the track was heavy Stewards were satisfied that there was no inconsistencies in the surface and deemed it safe for racing. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Elmes the representative of Avatar Hunter regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Avatar Hunter last raced on 16th December 2015. Mrs. Hunter stated that the greyhound was recovering from an injury to the left front leg. 

Mrs. S. Elmes, representative of Avatar Hunter declared a new weight of 35.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Avatar Hunter last raced at 37.1kg.

Taz's Man and Kirsty's Me Mum were quick to begin. Arolok Hobo, Unlocked and Avatar Hunter collided soon after the start. Mepunga Paddy and Moonlit Eyes collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Paddy, Moonlit Eyes and Arolok Hobo collided approaching the first turn, checking Moonlit Eyes. Mepunga Paddy, Arolok Hobo and Unlocked collided on the first turn, checking Arolok Hobo and Unlocked. Blackberry Road and Avatar Hunter collided on the first turn, checking Blackberry Road and Unlocked. Blackberry Road and Unlocked collided in the home straight. Arolok Hobo raced wide in the home straight. 

Hurry Slowly was slow to begin. Turbo Chief and Berry Bling collided soon after the start. Berry Bling and Striker Klinsman collided soon after the start. Southwood Jet, Turbo Chief and Berry Bling collided approaching the first turn, and again on the first turn, checking Turbo Chief, and severely checking Southwood Jet and Faithful Hill. Turbo Chief checked off Let It Bling approaching the home turn. Southwood Jet and Faithful Hill collided approaching the home turn. 

A pre race sample was taken from Made First. 

Lynlea Jiddy was quick to begin. Avatar Sandee, Rowchester Star and Made First collided soon after the start, checking Avatar Sandee and Made First. Tear Away Babe, Rowchester Star and Lynlea Jiddy collided approaching the first turn. Made First checked off Rowchester Star on the first turn, checking Lynlea Jiddy and Dixie Anne. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Hush Now engaged in this event on Tuesday 17th May 2016, pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre race sample was taken from Ravel. 

Farmer Brown was slow to begin. Who's Driving, Ravel and Hush Now collided soon after the start, checking Ravel. Who's Driving and Hush Now collided approaching the first turn. Who's Driving and Zieva collided approaching the first turn. Farmer Brown and Harry Steiger collided on the first turn, checking Harry Steiger. Farmer Brown was held for a run approaching the home turn and checked off Kilty Express.

Talanjee Stiff and Cheap Currency collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Lil Arthur, Jazzy Bale and Chevsta collided on the first turn, checking Jazzy Bale, Silvertop and Cheap Currency. Chevsta and Dynamic Punch collided approaching the home turn, checking Chevsta. Dynamic Punch and Jazzy Bale collided approaching the home turn. Talanjee Stiff and Shellington collided in the home straight. 

Chevsta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right forearm. No stand down period was imposed.

Go Vicki, Catsford Allan, Scorpion and French Affair collided on the first turn, checking Go Vicki, Catsford Allan, Scorpion and Thomeli Roar. Go Vicki checked off Catsford Allan approaching the home turn. Catsford Allan checked off Scorpion approaching the home turn. Scorpion raced wide in the home straight. 

Shared Bonus was slow to begin. Ay Goodes and Happy Hudson collided soon after the start. Iconic Rock, Ay Goodes, Happy Hudson and Elite Faze collided soon after the start, checking Ay Goodes. Iconic Rock, Happy Hudson, Elite Faze and Shared Bonus collided on the first turn, checking Ay Goodes and Shared Bonus, and severely checking Elite Faze. Ay Goodes and Shared Bonus collided approaching the home turn. 

I'll Rob Ya was quick to begin. Fear Helvetia and Hetalia Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Fear Helvetia. Hetalia Bale checked off Tybellene on the first turn, checking Just Smile, and severely checking Fear Helvetia. Mabuti Girl galloped on the heels of Seabrook Sam on the first turn, checking Mabuti Girl.

Campeon and Dynasty Guru collided approaching the home turn. Tanjira and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the home turn, checking Sub Zero Magic. Tanjira and Suspicious Pete collided entering the home straight, checking Suspicious Pete.
